She’s a former Sunny Coast local, talented musician and mental health advocate – and now Anna Beadon is part riding a Quad-tandem bike from Perth to Sydney.

The world first attempt is raising money for Gotcha For Life, an Aussie charity dedicated to achieving zero suicides.
Anna is aiming to cross Australia on a quad tandem bike with three friends.
“There’s going to be four girls on one bike… and we are attempting to cross Australia on this bike,” she told Salt 106.5’s Steve D.
“Some quad tandems [have crossed] America and Canada, Mexico, but as yet none in Australia.
“No one’s crossed Australia on one yet, so we are ready.”
Anna is aiming to cross Australia on a quad tandem bike with three friends.
The team is aiming to complete the ride in 40 days.
“We’ll have a few rest days thrown in, but riding anywhere from 80 to 180km in one day as we go along.”
And it’s all in an effort to keep working towards achieving zero suicides in Australia.
“Gotcha for Life is an amazing organization,” Anna said.
“It’s run by a guy called Gus Warlord.

“Our goal is to actually raise half a million, that’s our goal as we tread across.
“And we also want to drop into schools along the way, too, and just really spread the message of mental fitness.”
