A bush dance is one of Australia’s great social traditions — live music, simple folk dances, plenty of laughter, and a caller who teaches every step, so no experience is needed. If you can walk, you can dance.
Live music and calling comes from The Swag and Fiddle Bushdance Band, who’ll have you kick up your toes and heels — suitable for all ages, from kids to grandparents. Doors open at 5:30pm; the dance floor kicks off shortly after.
Every ticket directly funds Aus Living Support’s three frontline programs — keeping local families housed, kids equipped for school, and the basics in the hands of people experiencing homelessness across the Sunshine Coast.

A Fair Day Out is an event created with people with disabilities to show their creative talents at Eumundi Markets. It’s all about having fun and spending time with friends, both old and new. Our busy lives can easily keep us apart, so this event is a chance to come together each year and celebrate each other. It happens every spring on a Saturday market day.
Equity Works hosts the event, with support from the Eumundi Markets team and many community partners. A Fair Day Out is a great example of communities helping each other and making our favourite places more inclusive.
There are lots of free activities to enjoy, including a petting zoo, market stalls, food, and games like Nerf Wars. The whole family can join in the fun.
The main area of the event is at the Eumundi Amphitheatre. Here, people with disabilities run stalls following the Original Eumundi Markets’ idea of making, baking, sewing, and growing. There are also free art and craft activities for children.
