The world has witnessed a tragic escalation of violence in the Holy Land, as a massive attack by Hamas on Israel on Saturday 7 October, has left both Israeli and Palestinian families in anguish.

The scale and brutality of the violence have shocked us all, and our hearts go out to the innocent lives lost. In this time of turmoil, Open Doors is earnestly calling upon Christians worldwide to join in prayer for the people of Israel and Palestine, beseeching for peace to descend upon this war-torn region.

Open Doors operates in the West Bank and Israel, collaborating with local partners in Gaza. The ongoing war has disrupted Open Doors’ work in the region, including the cancellation of planned training for women and meetings.

In conjunction with local partners and churches, Open Doors remains committed to supporting the church in Israel and Palestine through various activities, including training, Bible and Christian literature distribution, leadership development, advocacy and presence ministry, research, and prayer ministry.
