To begin at the beginning is not the beginning at all. For the Word of God has been alive since before that first breath, where life itself exhaled and love, hope and salvation burst forth in a technicolour storm of wonder and light. That same breath of love breathed into once-dirt lungs and from that moment this Word of love has never stopped, never ceased, never halted in its pursuit of each pair of those once-dirt lungs.
It soared forth. Through wars and death. Through tears and joy. Through prosperity and poverty. Through a man and a barren woman. A man and his coat. A people and a parted sea. A boy and his sling. An exile. A lion’s den. A rebuilding. A prophet and his voice. This Word of love, this breath of life, weaved itself into every story, every moment, every life, though no one knew nor could understand it.
And still it reached forward, anticipating the moment of reveal. The moment of awakening. The moment where love, in a single breath from a babe, burst forth again.
