Have you ever felt spiritually dry? Like your heart is parched, your prayers feel flat, or you’re just going through the motions?

Key points:

  • Here’s the miracle: the river from Ezekiel’s vision still flows today—through Jesus, into us, and out into the world.
  • You are not stuck. You are not too late.

The good news is there is a river. And wherever it flows, life begins again.

In Ezekiel’s vision, he sees a river flowing from the temple—starting as a trickle, then ankle-deep, then rising until it becomes a mighty, unstoppable current.

This wasn’t just a beautiful picture—it was a prophetic promise. It says: “Wherever the river flows, life will flourish—great schools of fish—because the river is turning the salt sea into fresh water. Where the river flows, life abounds.” —Ezekiel 47:9 (The Message)

This river represents the presence and power of God—His Spirit moving from the sanctuary, flowing outward, transforming everything in its path.

Here’s the miracle: the river from Ezekiel’s vision still flows today—through Jesus, into us, and out into the world.

Salt water becomes fresh. Fruit trees bear lasting fruit. Healing springs up. Dead places come alive. And here’s the miracle: that river still flows today—through Jesus, into us, and out into the world.

“Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” —John 7:38 (ESV)

Maybe you feel like your “river” is only ankle-deep—like it’s just a trickle of hope, a whisper of faith. But don’t underestimate it. God is moving. His Spirit is not stagnant. And He’s calling you deeper.

The deeper you go, the more healing, the more refreshing, the more fruit you’ll see.

He draws us beyond what’s familiar and into what’s transformational.

This river reaches the dry, forgotten places of your heart.

It brings life where you saw only loss.

It revives what felt too far gone.

You are not stuck. You are not too late.

You are not stuck. You are not too late.

The Spirit of God is flowing through you—bringing life, peace, and restoration.

So, step in. Let go. Let the river carry you.

If things feel barren or broken, don’t panic – you are not cut off from the Source.

The River is still flowing.

Still healing.

Still calling.

There is more ahead. More freedom. More joy. More healing. More purpose.

You’re not finished yet—and neither is He.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, flow through every part of me. Wash over the dry places. Heal what’s broken. Refresh what’s weary. Take me deeper into Your presence, and let Your life-giving power touch everything around me. I surrender to the flow. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
