In a high-spirited program of music and vibrant colour, the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra (SCSO) will celebrate a night at The Proms with British and Australian favourites.

Featuring Australian composer Sean O’Boyle’s Olympia Australis from the Sydney Olympics, and his Sunrise on the Coast, inspired by the Banjo Paterson poem of the same name, the concert includes The Man from Snowy River and other Australian classics from Percy Grainger, Peter Allen and The Seekers.

With perennial British favourites including Elgar’s Nimrod, the Dambusters March and the Spitfire Prelude and Fugue, A Night at the Proms will be a feast of celebratory music and imagery.
