The AOCRA National Sprint Titles Regatta will be held at Lake Kawana over three days from Friday, January 31st through till Sunday the 2nd of February. The Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association is pleased to be hosting this magnificent event which is the pinnacle of the Sprint Regatta calendar in Australia.
Don a hat, slap on some sunscreen, bring a water bottle, a rug and some foldout chairs and grab yourself a possie along Sportsmans Parade Bokarina from 7am on Friday the 31st, Saturday the 1st or Sunday morning of the 2nd of February to watch this incredibly exciting event on the waters of Lake Kawana just opposite the Sunshine Coast Sports Stadium.
This 3-day competition is a great celebration of athletic excellence, teamwork, camaraderie and leadership with the country’s top sprinters competing in over 100 events. The National Sprint Titles 2020 is a significant event for Kawana on the Sunshine Coast, which attracts 600 to 700 athletes of all ages each year from around Australia. This year the National Sprint Titles are also the qualifying event for Australia Club teams to compete in August 2020 at the IVF World Sprint Championships in Hilo Hawaii.
