Foster Carer information sessions

Sunshine coast radio spot:
• Do you have a genuine love of children?
• Are you patient, flexible, reliable and honest?
• Do you have a good sense of humour and a house big enough to give a child their own bedroom?
• And finally, can you work as part of a team to help keep kids safe?
If so, Anglicare Southern Queensland would love to hear from you.
Currently, we are looking for adults who can offer a home to children who for all sorts of reasons can’t live with their own families.
Foster carers come in all shapes and sizes including married, defacto couples, single men or women, those who are working or might be retired. And foster carers can be emergency carers, short term carers, long term carers or respite carers (that means having a child for a weekend once a month to give their primary carers a break).
Making a difference in a child’s life is one of the most amazing things you can do and Anglicare provides full training and support 24/7, so you don’t have to do it all alone.
If you are interested in finding out more about fostering local children, we would love to see you at one of our info sessions at Nambour or Buderim.
